Finishing & Assembly
"Finishing" includes many specialized operations, such as varnishing, folding, mounting, trimming, collating, perforating, punching, round cornering and binding, wire-o stitching and eyelit by machine or by hand. "Assembly" means putting together the pieces of a project, such as a media kit, as well as wrapping, ribbon threading, bowtying and inserting.
As for binding, we provide traditional techniques such as wire-o and coil, and unique approaches such as stitching, sewing and eyelets. Mounting/duplexing add thickness to your paper. You might try duplexing – the gluing of two sheets together. The sheets can be different weights, different colors (to achieve different color front and back), and even different textures.
Aldine maintains its own finishing and assembly department so we can provide all services for a job under one roof, making our promise of high quality and fast turnaround a reality.
